Competition Rules



General rules:

  • The rules apply to all participants of the “CTF-Kiberklub vodiy” event:
  • Honesty and Transparency: All participants must use only their own knowledge and experience to solve tasks. Any fraud or negative actions towards other participants are strictly prohibited.
  • Participation: Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan may participate in the competition. Participants can be involved in only one direction and one team at a time.
  • Information Security: Any information obtained during the event must be used only within the scope of practice. Unauthorized disclosure of personal or corporate information is prohibited.
  • Participant Conduct: During the event, participants must treat each other with respect. Any actions that violate the rights of systems or other participants are restricted.
  • Assistance and Support: Participants may receive help in solving tasks, but this assistance must be limited to officially provided support and documentation.
  • Rule Violations: Participants who break the rules will be immediately disqualified from the event and will be deprived of the right to influence the event's results.
  • These rules provide participants with the opportunity to test their skills effectively and safely and ensure the overall fairness of the event.

Main Rules:

  • No Sharing of Flags: Sharing or publishing flags is strictly prohibited.
  • No Denial of Service (DoS) Attacks: Deliberate attempts to degrade the performance of the CTF platform are not allowed.
  • No Automated Scanning: No full-scale automated scanning of the challenge environments.
  • Fair Play: No collaboration is allowed since this is an individual event.
  • No Multiple Accounts: One participant should not have more than one account.

Online selection:

  1. Registration for participation in the competition will be open from 10:00 a.m. on November 6, 2025, until 6:00 p.m. on November 7, 2025.
  2. Participants are required to complete all registration fields accurately and provide a valid phone number without errors.
  3. The online qualification round will take place on November 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Participation is permitted only through Wi-Fi networks (IP addresses) belonging to the Ferghana branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al -Khwarazmi, Fergana Branch, and the Fergana Polytechnic Institute.
  4. The top 40 participants who correctly and completely solve all assigned tasks during the online qualification round will be selected to participate in the offline competition.

Offline Competition:

  1. The offline (in-person) competition will be held on November 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Fergana Regional Information and Library Center.
  2. Each participant must take part in the competition using their own computer or laptop.
  3. Only the 40 participants who successfully pass the online qualification round will be eligible to compete in the offline stage.
  4. Upon completion of the competition, the three participants achieving the highest overall scores will be declared the winners.
